Over the long Easter weekend, Jean and I headed to Beijing with our Aussy friends. We checked out the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, enjoyed a little of the bar scene, and had some nice dinners including some Peking Duck. It was a packed two days of activity and we are now back in Hong Kong. The purchase I am very excited about is 4-foot tall Terra Cotta Warrior. Should be arriving by boat in about a month. Can You Spot the Horse?
Jean’s sister is in town this week so we headed out to Happy Valley Racecourse to lose a couple bucks on the ponies. This is the same racecourse I play field hockey at in the infield. Can you spot the horse trotting by in the first picture? Also, check out the video footage.
Jill took Grace to Ocean Park this morning.
And we had dinner in Soho last night.
Hong Kong Sevens
Well… I survived my first Hong Kong Sevens. Three days of watching Rugby, drinking Pimm’s, and experiencing the South Stands. Me and my mate scored some nice seats we thought… until we sat through 9 hours of watching Rugby through 3 tinsel halos.
