Alex’s Last Hurrah

Alex is coming towards the end of his visit out here in Hong Kong. He will be heading home soon. Here are some pictures from his last weekend with us. Make sure you check out his video blog at FloorNine.com.

We rented the Bank’s Junk and went out to Lamma Island for dinner. Here is Alex driving the boat.

Here is Alex in his new tailor made shirt and pants. The belt is mine… that’s why it doesn’t match and is way too big.

It’s My Birthday Too

Never to be outshined, Jean celebrated her birthday tonight. Here is a picture of Jean and me at da Domenico. This link talks about how dinner for two was $148 HKD ($19 USD). Our dinner for two (see that I am eating spaghetti and Jean is prego so no drinks) was $1016 HKD ($130 USD). Don’t get me wrong. It was good but…

Hard Rockin’ Black Eyed Birthday on a Boat

Yesterday was the BIG Day. Alex turned 16 years old and he happened to be here in Hong Kong. We had a nice day at the pool, played some tennis, then onto the Star Ferry to go over to the Hard Rock Cafe for a Birthday dinner. Closed the day off with the Black Eyed Peas concert. As Alex would say, it was a Bangin’ HOTT day. Make sure you checkout his video blog over at FloorNine.com. It’s really awesome.

Unaccompanied Minor

My nephew, Alex, showed up Saturday night for a 2 1/2 week visit to Hong Kong. Since he is only 15 years old, they treated him like a rock star on the way over. This is a picture of him arriving in Hong Kong. Yes, that is a Japanese Flight Attendent pushing his luggage for him.

He’ll be turning 16 while he is Hong Kong-side. Hopefully, they give him the same treatment on the way home.

Singapore Fried Hockey

David and I went to Singapore this weekend to play a game of field hockey against the Singapore Cricket Club’s team. They were really good and beat the heck out of us. Singapore was very nice city and I hope we (the whole family) make it back there before the new one is born.
